Nat G. Kiefer

Nat G. Kiefer (born c. 1939, died July 10, 1985) was a Louisiana state senator.

Biography

Political career

Mr. Kiefer of New Orleans carried a brash style into the Louisiana State Senate to become one of Gov. Edwin Edwards' most effective floor leaders. He was instrumental in the construction of the Lakefront Arena.

Family

Mr. Kiefer married Carol Ann Hazard. Together they had 4 children Nat G. Kiefer Jr., Kent Kiefer, Karen Ann Kiefer, and Kris Patrick Kiefer.

Death

Mr. Kiefer died of a liver ailment at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.[1] He was 46 years old.
